earl-s-braid-spreader-007erl
Earl’s Braid Spreader - 007ERL
In order to insert the "olive" into Speed-Flex Hose, the stainless protective braid must be separated from the PTFE liner. This can be more difficult than it sounds. Earl's braid spreader solves the problem —and eliminates the tiresome probability of poking holes in your fingers. In use, the tool is simply inserted into the cut end of the hose and pushed — spreading the braid. The olive is then placed on the tool mandrel, pushed over the hose liner, and under the braid until the liner bottoms against the shoulder of the olive.

Features:

Works on Earl's -3 and -4 Speed-Flex PTFE Hose (0.040 wall thickness)

Spreads outer steel hose braid without risking PTFE liner damage

Centers the olive in the bore

Bottoms out to install olive at correct depth

Eliminates finger pricking!

Makes for a stress-free assembly

Sizes and Connection Specifications:

Product Details: Braid Spreader, for -3 and -4 PTFE Hoses

Compatible Hose: Speed-Flex

Fits Stainless Hose: #3 & #4 PTFE .040 Wall Hose

Hose Size: 3 AN & 4 AN

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0819/9110/6798/files/337249b74997fae20566233d1149390414bd37ed.jpg?v=1791463571
