nos-nitrous-solenoid-black-18178bnos
NOS Nitrous Solenoid - Black - 18178BNOS
NOS TC178 Nitrous Solenoid was developed for one purpose; deliver the most nitrous volume possible for a single solenoid. With a 0.178" outlet orifice, the TC178 has the ability to flow in excess of 900 horsepower of nitrous from a single solenoid. The TC178 base is also constructed of 6061 Aluminum and then clear anodized. This reduces the weight by 1/4 of a pound over the NOS Super BigShot Trash Can Solenoid, and still retains the mounting location on the base. If maximum power from a single stage of nitrous is what you need, get the new NOS TC17

Current Draw is 20 Amps at 12 volts DC.

This Solenoid can be used with a progressive controller

Features:

Supports in excess of 900 horsepower

Inlet Port Size - 1/4" NPT (Side)

Outlet Port Size - 1/8" NPT (Bottom)

Purge Port Size - 1/8" NPT (Side)

Orifice - 0.178"

Plunger - PTFE

Light Weight Aluminum - 1.66 lbs.

Material - 6061 Aluminum

Saves 1/4 lb. over similar steel solenoids

Product Specifications:

Product Details: TC178 High flow nitrous solenoid with a 0.178" outlet orifice and aluminum base.

Amp Draw: 20A

Bracket(s) Included: No

Color: Black

Finish: Natural

Fittings Included: No

Inlet: Side

Inlet Attachment: Female Threads

Inlet Thread: 1/4" NPT

Material: 6061-T6 Aluminum

Max Horsepower: 900

Orifice: 0.178"

Outlet: Bottom

Outlet Attachment: Female Threads

Outlet Thread: 1/8" NPT

Part Type: Nitrous Oxide Solenoid

Plunger Material: PTFE

Product Line: TC178

Product Type: Nitrous Solenoid

Purge Port: 1/8" NPT

Solenoid Top Cover Color: Black

Installation Notes:

The TC178 offers a 1/8" NPT bottom exit and a 1/8" NPT purge port.
The side purge port must be plugged if not used.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0819/9110/6798/files/bc7d1e425b0f1e606d04f7d4f4ddeb3ee28c16a2.jpg?v=1791658150
